Aurora forecasts, the Kp index, aurora maps, meteor shower pages and guides, free of charge.

General, unofficial information

aurorahour is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency or to any organization named on the site. Figures, dates and other data are unofficial copies or estimates for general information only. Nothing on the site is financial, tax, legal, medical or safety advice. Always check the official source before you rely on a number. Aurora and meteor forecasts are estimates of a natural phenomenon and can be wrong: a forecast of a good chance is not a promise that anything will be visible. Do not rely on the site for travel, safety or operational decisions.
